Earth & Sky is a clear voice for science.

Earth & Sky focuses on science, nature and people.

Founded in 1991, Earth & Sky is a radio show, with one of the largest networks of affiliate radio stations of any regular science radio broadcast. This short-format radio series – hosted by Joel Block and Deborah Byrd – reaches 1.5 million radio listeners every day in the U.S. and another 4 million listeners daily across the globe. Many people know and respect the Earth & Sky brand.

In 2003, Earth & Sky was the first radio program to win a Public Service Award from the National Science Board “for its achievement in broadcasting explanations of research and everyday science to a worldwide audience.

On the web since 1995, earthsky.org is a science information source unlike any other. Continually updated with the latest science news, commentary and interviews with scientists, Earth & Sky presents both nightsky astronomy and scientific strategies and ideas about sustainable living in the 21st century.

“I love Earth & Sky.” – Auntie Terror

I have been interested in the night sky for as long as I can remember, and finally at the age of 56 I purchased my first telescope. I live in the Chicago area and I have been outside just about every night since I received it. I found your web site by chance and I do not leave work without printing out my daily sky guide. I would be lost without it. I would like to thank you for this and I want to thank you for the knowledge I get each day from your web site. -Ernest Macielewicz

The Earth & Sky promise:
