Spanish Affiliate Relations Specialist

FOR SYNDICATED RADIO SERIES*
The Earth & Sky radio series seeks a part-time Spanish Affiliate Relations Specialist. The successful candidate will be trained to attract and maintain affiliate Spanish radio stations via telemarketing and establish/maintain an ongoing relationship with such affiliates. Candidate must possess excellent bilingual communication skills. Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and strong organization skills required.
He or she must be college graduate with 5 years experience in marketing, sales and media. Macintosh experience preferred. Must have excellent telephone manner. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
The position with be 20 hours per week in our offices in Austin, Texas. The starting salary is $24,000/year, plus benefits.
The Spanish Affiliate Relations Specialist will join Earth & Sky at an exciting period of growth for our radio series, as we start a new Spanish science radio series. He or she will be exposed to the inner workings of the nation’s most successful daily science radio series, and will learn the intricacies of online publishing.
